Miles of beaches to choose from East and West, altho this time of the year they were busy but worth it when you get in the sea. We went out most days and came back for a bit of pool side R&R and our only frustration was that there were sometimes no sunbeds left. There is a pool side bar open all day till around 1am and altho our room was close to the bar, there was no noise filtering to the rooms. The pool area is lovely, small pool but clean and really well maintained, as are the sunbeds.
Folia is on a hill so not suitable for everyone but worth the short daily walk. The walk to the beach truly was only a few mins away. The views from our room were amazing almost a 180 degree panorama and most of that was Ocean. We ate in the restaurant too and the food was honestly excellent. We ate in our apartment a couple of times and whilst the kitchen facilities were basic, we had what we needed. The bathroom was quite small but otherwise can't fault the place. The bed was comfortable, the linen was changed regularly. The room itself was so lovely it was like a little cave and perfectly clean and airy - the Aircon was on when we arrived and no extra charge for this.
On arrival, which was around midnight, we were greeted by one of the brothers that owned the apartments and escorted to our room. We stayed 14-21 July 19: The reviews of this place were not wrong! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Folia Apartments.
